On my system your suggested "reg delete" commands weren't successful because the keys don't exist. The interesting part is that it's not a x64 related problem. Stepinsky, It isn't, I'm afraid - I'm in the same boat with an E! I was installing LifeSize conferencing software on windows 7 and received that error I logged out of my domain account and logged in as a local user with admin rights and it work.

You are the man. Followed the remaining instructions after that and everything uninstalled perfectly.
Both commands given above are correct. Worked for me. When I input the first command to unregister the vbscript, I get the following response. I have no idea what that means or what I should do next. People have said that I did not fully write out the keys. Only one thing though….. Thank you so much. Had to use regedit and find the key by hand, but it works like a charm, installing no.
I tried everything above, but to no avail, and am running Windows 7 64 bit. Just in case the setup file is in some folders, explore the CD to locate them and take note of their locations.
It tried it to uninstall Palm Desktop from Windows 7. I enjoyed the blog post still. Thanks man. It worked like a charm! Just remember to remove those quotes from the regedit command!
I had to use Regedit to manually locate and delete these keys, but after that the installation went flawless :P. I have literally done all of this and it is still giving me the Error I have looked for those keys in regedit and cmd and they are not there. I have reg32 vbscript. Once you do all of that, go back and run the regsvr32 method again. That should do it. There is seemingly no solution for this, right now. Comments John :.
