These are your settings if you're using the latest version of Microsoft If your email account is the type that requires registration, you must register it the first time you sign in to Outlook on the Web. Connecting to your email account through a mobile phone will fail if you haven't registered your account through Outlook on the Web. After you sign in to your account, sign out.
Then try to connect using your mobile phone. If you connect to your account using a POP or IMAP connection, you will only be able to use and synchronize your email using a wireless connection.

I'm trying to set up my personal email on the , but it seems that i have only one option, Blackberry Enterprise Server option. Is that suppose to be that way? I don't seem to have the " I want to create or add an email address" option. Im using a Bold , v5. When i try to set up my email it only gives me the enterprise setup? When i first went through the setup wizard i had the two options one for the enterprise and the other for personal use.
I did not fill in my details so i left it at that moment to check out the other features on the phone. But the second time i came round to it, it only gave me the enterprise option which i dont want. Just wondering how i can get that option back. Also i cannot seem to be able to get blackberry apps or windows live messenger, although my blackberry messenger is working fine.
Not sure where to post this, but my wife and I both have the Yesterday hers quit working. The phone works and sms works. Any ideas as to why this is happening or ways around this so I can use my bbm and setup my personal emails to automatically send to my phone like I had before? Mine still works perfect. Any ideas on what needs to be done to get her email set back up and bbm working again? I want to setup email connection. On this I do not have any Connection Assistant so I use "setup" mode and "mail accounts" options.
Usually as on my previous Curve I used to have two options when entering there : - Use my own email address personal address or create a new one - Use my Enterprise email address But when I launch Email setup on my curve , I have only the Enterprise option so that I Cannot setup email! My runs under OS 7. My curve has suddenly lost the personal email setup option and i need to know how delete old email accounts, i'm unable to do so. The assistant for email set up show that we have normally 2options: 1 I want to create or add an email adress 2 I want to use a work email account..
I don't have the first option, only the second choice is possible, how can i do to set up an email adress? I bought my first BlackBerry Curve 3G on Friday and tried to setup a personal email account on the phone via the setup wizard earlier today.
The phone said that an update to 6. I let it update, now the phone is just hanging after starting up. If I do a start up after removing the battery it comes up with a black screen with the BlackBerry logo and a progress bar below it. The progress bar moves along until the end, this takes around a minute. It then shows something like a little clock over the logo for about a second. Once this disappears the phone says with the logo and the completed progress bar - and just hangs there.
I have a Bold and I just installed OS5. What can I do? All my email inboxes from the backup of the device are already there but I was just wondering. I am renting a phone for holiday. The set-up option for e-mail only shows Enterprise Activation, which I acnnot use. How do I get regular e-mail accounts set up? Scroll to Email Server. Enter the required email server address. Select Save. Scroll to and select Validate. Wait while the new settings are saved. The selected email account has been changed.
If you can't get the mail server to connect, ensure the settings are correct and working on a home computer. Also, check the network or Internet connectivity settings. View all topics.
